How it works

Three steps, verified at every one.

  1. Apply in the app, or save your place

Download Officer Saathi for iPhone and sign up with your mobile number. Not ready yet? Join the waitlist on this site with the same number, and keep your place when you sign up.

  2. Get verified by a person

Upload one document that shows you qualify, confirm who you are on DigiLocker, and take a short selfie. A person reads it all, and we aim to decide within 48 hours. You get a notification either way.

  3. Meet verified members

Pick of the Day brings one member each morning. The Saathi tab lets you filter by service, city, industry and more. On Live, see who is free to meet in your city.

  • Your number is never shown. No member ever sees it. Profiles can’t carry numbers, emails or handles.
  • Nothing is public. Profiles live only in the app. Search engines can’t find them, and screenshots are blocked.
  • A real person reads every report. Block or report anyone from a chat or profile. Reports stay confidential.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Serving officers from the IAS, IPS and other top services, people who’ve done well outside government, and their grown-up sons and daughters. A person checks every application.

Your chats are encrypted on the way to our servers and while stored there, and no other member can see them. They are not end-to-end encrypted, so our systems can technically read them. Messages are screened automatically for links, email addresses and social handles, and our safety team may read one that is flagged. Beyond that, nobody on our team reads chats as a matter of course: our safety team opens a specific conversation only to look into a report from either of you, to answer a support request you raised about it, or when the law requires.

It’s Officer Saathi, at officersaathi.com and on the App Store. People also search for it as Officer Sathi, Oficer Saathi, Officr Sathi, Ofcr Saathi or Afsar Saathi; they all mean the same private app for India’s officers, elites and their families.

Everyone here is checked by a person, so you know who you’re talking to. Nothing is public, and nobody can message you until you accept. One app covers work contacts, friendship, a life partner and people in your city.

All three, and more: one private app for dating, matrimony and connections among India’s best. Members looking for a life partner use it as a private matrimony app for Indian officers and their families; others use it to connect with officers and professionals, make friends or meet people in their city. Unlike open matrimony sites and social apps, a person checks every member and nothing is public.

No. You choose what you’re here for: work contacts, friendship, marriage or people in your city. Every request shows which one, so nobody has to guess.

No. Officer Saathi is an independent app, run by Vizibly Technologies Private Limited. It isn’t linked to, or endorsed by, the Government of India or any department.

You upload one document that shows you qualify, confirm who you are on DigiLocker, and take a short selfie. Then a person reviews it all.

The first 500 members get Premium access, for good: every app feature, with no subscription or in-app purchase. After them, some features move to a members’ plan: newer members still see them, marked with a lock. Nobody can pay their way in: everyone is admitted on their standing and checked by a person. Sitaare, the app’s own stars, are earned by taking part, and Group A officers have unlimited Sitaare. They can’t be bought.

Only members, inside the app. Before you connect, they see two photos, a headline and the basics. Your phone number is never shown.

They’re never told. For the next seven days, neither of you is shown to the other.

Yes. Officers and Elite Professionals can invite them from the app. If you’re not on the app, they can still apply, and our team checks the documents.
