Account deletion

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the You tab.
2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm.

Deletion runs immediately. You are signed out and the account cannot be recovered.

By email

Write to support@officersaathi.com from the phone number registered to your account (or a verified email you have used with us) with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm it is you and delete the account, normally within two business days and never more than 30.

What is deleted

At the moment of deletion we remove:

• your profile, photos, voice introduction, bio-data, family, horoscope and preference sections;
• every verification file — service, income and birth-certificate documents, selfie frames, DigiLocker photograph — and the identity details we received from DigiLocker;
• your civil-list claim, if any;
• your requests, connections and conversations, including voice notes, photos, view-once photos and GIFs, on both sides;
• your Circle applications, answers, comments, endorsements and votes — and the replies other members left under your answers, since they have no context without them;
• your Credits, Spotlight and Second Look ledgers, streak, ratings given and received, saved profiles, blocks, screenshot records and notification token;
• your support threads;
• your login with our authentication provider.

Other members who were connected to you simply see the connection gone.

What we may keep

• A minimal record that an account existed and was deleted, so a banned member cannot return.
• Records we are required by law to retain, and records of a safety report we have referred to an authority.
• Reports you filed about other members, with your identity removed from them.
• Anonymous, aggregated analytics that cannot be tied to you.
• Crash reports and analytics already sent to our providers, which age out under their standard retention.

Pausing instead

If you want to step away without deleting, You → Pause my profile hides you from Members, Picks, Search and Spotlight. Your conversations, connections, Credits and verification wait exactly as they were until you resume.
