1. The agreement
These terms form a binding contract between you and Officer Saathi Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Officer Saathi”, “we”), with registered office at W 2/6, West Patel Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110008, India. By creating an account, submitting verification documents, or using any part of our service, you agree to these terms in their entirety. If you don't agree, please do not use Officer Saathi. On Apple devices, these terms also serve as the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) governing your use of the app, in addition to Apple’s standard licensed application terms.
2. Eligibility
Officer Saathi is a closed community. To apply, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be legally eligible to marry under Indian law.
- Qualify under at least one of the following tiers:
- Service officer: an active or retired Group A central services officer (IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS or equivalent), an equivalent state cadre Group A officer, a judicial services officer, or an officer of the Indian Armed Forces.
- Elite professional: a founder, partner, senior operator or professional with a verifiable annual income of ₹50 lakh or more.
- Academic or judicial: a Supreme Court or High Court advocate, a faculty member at an IIT, IIM or AIIMS, or a senior medical consultant at a tier-1 hospital.
Eligibility is our judgment to make. We reserve the right to decline any application without stating a reason.
3. Verification & proof
During onboarding you will be asked to upload proof. Officers: an appointment letter and, where applicable, a current posting order. Elite professionals: payslips, Form 16 or an ITR acknowledgement. Academics and judicial members: institutional ID or bar enrolment.
All proof must be authentic and current. Submitting forged, altered or fraudulent documents is a permanent ban and, where the forgery concerns government documents, may be referred to the appropriate authority for prosecution.
4. Your conduct & community safety
Every member can report any profile or message and block any other member from inside the app. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour: reports are triaged within 24 hours and verified violations result in content removal and an immediate suspension or permanent ban of the offending account. While using Officer Saathi you agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, demean, or solicit other members.
- Share classified, confidential, or non-public information related to your service, your employer, or any investigation.
- Display uniform, rank insignia or service identifiers in a way that suggests an official endorsement.
- Impersonate another person, create multiple accounts, or use another member's account.
- Use the service for sex work, escort services, prostitution, or any commercial solicitation.
- Extract, scrape, screenshot (for distribution), or republish another member's profile, photos or messages.
- Use the service in violation of any applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women Act.
5. Your content
You retain full ownership of the photos, text, and other content you upload. By uploading, you grant Officer Saathi a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, transmit and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the service — matching you, showing your profile to other verified members, and enforcing these terms.
This licence ends when you delete your account, subject to our retention obligations.
6. Subscriptions & auto-renewal
Officer Saathi offers paid subscriptions (“Officer Saathi Pro”, available as monthly and annual plans) in addition to free verified access. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The exact title, duration and price of each subscription are shown on the purchase screen inside the app before you confirm.
- Payment. When you confirm a purchase, payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account under their terms, not ours.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Cancellation. You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from your Apple ID Subscriptions (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) on iOS, or Google Play Subscriptions on Android. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — no pro-rated refund is issued for the unused portion.
- Free trials. If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of that trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Restore purchases. If you reinstall the app or change devices, you can restore an active subscription from inside the app at any time.
- Refunds. Refund requests are handled by the respective platform — for the App Store, via reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue platform refunds directly, but our team will help where possible: write to support@officersaathi.com.
- Price changes. We may change prices from time to time. Any price change takes effect on your next renewal and you will be notified in advance as required by the applicable app store.
7. Suspension, account deletion & termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account — with or without notice — if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, submitted forged documents, or created a safety risk to other members.
You can delete your account at any time, from inside the app: open Settings → Account → Delete account, confirm, and your profile is removed immediately. Alternatively, email support@officersaathi.com from your registered address and we will process the deletion. Pausing is also available if you want to step away without deleting.
On deletion, your public profile and matches disappear immediately. Your underlying personal data is purged from our primary systems within 30 days, subject to the limited retention obligations described in our privacy policy. Cancelling an App Store or Play Store subscription is a separate action and must be done in your platform account settings — deleting the app or your account does not cancel an active subscription.
8. Disclaimers
Officer Saathi is a matrimony platform. We verify credentials to a best-effort standard, but we are not a detective agency. We do not guarantee a match, a marriage, or the character of any member. You are solely responsible for the choices you make about whom to meet, where to meet them, and what to share.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Officer Saathi's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months immediately preceding the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is higher. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at New Delhi.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
